2-Headed Shark Attack
Shark month continues with 2-Headed Shark Attack. It checks off all of the boxes: sharks check…bad acting check…bad CGI check. This is a recipe for some cheesy goodness. Critics and some viewers didn’t like this movie, but I had fun with it.

PLOT
Students at sea get stranded on a sinking atoll, while being hunted by a two headed shark.
MY THOUGHTS
There’s roughly 26 kills in 2-Headed Shark Attack. All by the shark. A lot of CGI of course. That seems to run in these types of movies. I will give it the director, there’s 5 kills within the first 5 minutes of
It’s basic attacks so nothing really stands out except when Anne and the Professor just kind of give up on the bridge. A wave is about to hit the island and the shark is in the wave. They just hug each other and let it happen. (It reminds me of when the father and daughter die in Deep Impact.)
And of course when the guy and the two girls are making out in the water. The guy sees a shark coming but goes back to making out with the girls. So stupid.
The acting is per usual–bad and cheesy. We get Carmen Electra, Charlie O’Connell, and Brooke Hogan. A trifecta of bad acting. Carmen Electra (known for Monster Island, Scary Movie 1 & 4, and Baywatch) plays Anne, the medic.
Charlie O’Connell (known for Unlucky Charms and being one of the O’Connell brothers) plays the professor who is cool at first but gets injured and turns into a whiny little baby. (What was up with that? His character was enjoyable at first but he falls down and bangs his leg and now he’s useless.)
Brooke Hogan (known for Sand Shark and being Hulk Hogan’s daughter) plays Kate, a student. Someone who has a traumatic experience in the ocean before, and is knowledgeable about EVERYTHING it seems. She knows how to fix boats and knows how to weld. Underwater welding at that.
In the beginning of 2-Headed Shark Attack, two girls wakeboarding get attacked by the shark. Followed by the three friends in the boat. We then cut to a boat full of college kids, a professor, his wife the medic, as well as three boat workers.
The boat hits a dead shark, causing damage to the bottom of the boat. During the excitement the radio antenna is also damaged. While the three boat workers work on the boat, the professor takes the students to a nearby atoll to check it out.
When one of the divers jumps in to fix the boat, the shark comes up and kills her. Then, while the students are looking around, three of them decide to go into the water and start making out. The shark finds them and kills them too.
Some students find an abandoned fisherman’s shack with two boats. The students bring the professor to check it out when the shark hits the atoll from below, causing the whole atoll to shake like a tremor. This causes the professor to fall and hurt his leg. The professor goes back to the ship to see the medic.
Meanwhile, the students fix the boats and find gas. Four take off in one of the boats and three in the other. The rest stay on the beach. The two boats are racing, not noticing that the shark is following them. One of the guys in the first boat falls out and they leave him in the water. The shark gets him and the students on the beach see it. The shark then goes after that boat.
One douchebag jumps out and swims away from that boat while the other two try to get away. But to no avail. The shark gets them. The other boat gets back to the atoll and confronts the coward. The professor, the medic, and the two final workers all take their dingy back to the atoll where the students are.
Another tremor happens and everyone realizes that the atoll is sinking. So they come up with a plan to distract the shark with poles attached to a generator, and put it in the water. This distracts the shark so Kate and the douchebag to head back to the ship so Kate can finish patching up the ship.
This works until the shark attacks the pole, causing the two workers to fall into the water and die. The shark then heads to the boat. Douchebag does what he does best. Once Kate finishes up the job he takes off with the boat, leaving her in the water. But he gets his just deserts. The ship sinks and he takes off in a dingy, only to get eaten by the shark.
Kate makes it back to the atoll but it’s sinking. All the survivors start running, some getting separated from the group, then getting eaten by the shark. Then the professor and the medic stop on a bridge and see this huge wave coming, with the shark in it. They give up and die.
At this point there are still a lot of students left alive. They quickly get dispatched until there are two left and they are able to defeat the shark a little too easily.

I wanted to take a quick break to let you know I found these great deals on Amazon for 2-Headed Shark Attack merchandise. I’ve applied to Amazon’s affiliate program and if I can get three purchases I will be accepted into the program. This will be of tremendous help with starting my small business.

Overall, yes this is a cheesy shark movie. With the required bad CGI, bad acting, and a questionable plot. But, I didn’t mind all of that. I had fun with it. I was even a little surprised who survived. Is 2-Headed Shark Attack a great movie? No. Is it good? Eh. I liked it and it’s in my pile of shark movies that I will watch again. I know I’ll get crap for it. A lot of people don’t like it. But I had fun. And for me, that’s important.
And now for your Forever Final Girl Exclusive…Did you know?:
Shark was created by Cleve Hall in the Monster Man episode titled "Seeing Double".
Originally the producers wanted the shark to have the second head connected to the forehead of the other. However, Cleve Hall, who built the shark, thought it would look better if it was two separate heads.
