My Bloody Valentine 1981
It’s that time of year! Time to bring out the Valentine’s Day horror. And I always have to start with the classic 1981 My Bloody Valentine. The time of year where Hallmark and companies hype up this romantic holiday. Not me. Though, I do appreciate it when they put all that Valentine candy on sale.

Friday the 13th Part 2
Friday the 13th Part 2 is, in my opinion, a decent sequel in this franchise. It happens to be my favorite. We get Amy Steele as Ginny, who I think is the best final girl in this franchise. She is down to earth, but is able to kick but when needed.

Friday the 13th (1980)
To say Friday the 13th had an impact on horror movies would be an understatement. I don’t know about you but it was the first slasher movie I ever watched. I was spooked to the point that before I would go to camp each summer I would watch Friday the 13th the night before I would leave. And yes, in the beginning of camp I would freak out about going to the campfire circles. LOL

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1974
For a movie with very little blood in it, it’s pretty brutal. And I’m not just talking about the behind the scene horror’s going on. What we get on screen is brutal enough. Who would have thought a movie made in 1974 could have such a long lasting effect on horror.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2
Does The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 live up to the greatness of the original? No, but it’s not the worst in the series. We get a bit more kills and a bit more gore, but we get a lot more black humor. Maybe a bit too much. But a fun ride with Dennis Hopper, Caroline Williams, and Bill Moseley.
