Witchouse II Blood Coven
This time J.R. Bookwalter and Charles Band try to capitalize on found footage movies like the Blair Witch Project. There does seem to be a little bit better budget for this film and we have the return of Ariauna Albright as Lilith. She also gets to play a professor.
Released: Sep 26, 2000
Runtime: 77 mins
Director: J.R. Bookwalter

Actors: Ariauna Albright, Elizabeth Hobgood, Nicholas Lanier
MY THOUGHTS
I just like to play with dead things.--Norman Soderquist
There’s about nine kills (including those that are possessed). Not really bloody, just kills. Just like in the original movie, those possessed kind of just disappear. Last time, when Lilith is defeated her minions just disappear. This time, when the bones are destroyed from the original graves, those possessed disappear.
I feel there were only two standouts in acting and that’s Ariauna Albright and Andrew Prine. Ariauna Albright plays the Professor and Lilith. She also played Lilith in the original Witchouse. She has a better costume and makeup this go round. Andrew Prine plays the sheriff with an awesome sword. Yes, I said sword. He uses that to kill those he needs to kill. Otherwise, the rest of the acting was just average.
The idea was decent. A town tears down a house in order to build a mall. In the process they discover four graves. A professor and her team are called out to investigate the bodies and they reawaken Lilith. I just wish they would have fleshed out the story a bit. I did like that they filmed some of the movie like a “found footage” style movie. Granted, they were trying to rip off the Blair Witch, but oh well.

Witchouse II Blood Coven is a bad movie, but if you’re into fun, bad movies, or a fan of the original, then watch this. It’s not a movie I think I’ll watch again.
And now for your Forever Final Girl Exclusive…Did you know?:
The second and last Witchouse movie to have been shot in Romania.
The decision to make this film more of its own entity rather than a true sequel was a creative one on J.R. Bookwalter's part. He pointed out in an interview, "Full Moon's history is to not follow previous storylines. Just look at the Puppet Master franchise. So we decided that the force of the Witchouse series, which Charlie [Band] is now considering expanding into one per year, will be the character of Lilith. Otherwise, it will be new storylines to keep it fresh."
Shot in eight days during severely cold weather.
J.R. Bookwalter said that among the changes for this sequel, they really sexed up Lilith, including giving her much bigger breasts.
Happy with the final version of this film, producer Charles Band offered J.R. Bookwalter made a deal to make a series of movies.
The house seen in the film was previously used in Talisman.
In addition to playing the Professor and Lilith, Ariauna Albright also appears two additional times in the film; the first as Dementia (playing the role under a pseudonym), and the second as a corpse in the morgue.
