Bunnyman Massacre
As a completionist, I felt the need to keep going through the Bunnyman franchise. I know. I know. I’m a glutton for punishment but I like horror movies. Good or bad I’ll watch them. Thus I continue with the Bunnyman Massacre.

Bunnyman and his new partner Joe kill anyone that crosses their path, and Joe makes their bodies into beef jerky he sells to unsuspecting buyers.
MY THOUGHTS
Most of the kills in Bunnyman are off screen but you see the after effects. I will say I did like the kills in this one over the original. Plus, we get a lot more of them. The bus scene at the beginning was good. The whole time I’m thinking there’s no way Bunnyman is going to kill a bunch of kids, but yep, they went there. I also like the little homage from a Jason kill in Friday the 13th Part 7 The New Blood. A girl in a sleeping bag. That was nice.
The acting is okay. Nothing outstanding or too bad. Though I didn’t like the character of Sarah. More people died because of her. They kept setting her up like she is the final girl.
We get Joshua Lang (known for more behind the scenes work than acting) as the Bunnyman. He doesn’t talk but he does kill a lot. David Scott (known for all three Bunnyman movies, and a lot of tv shows and shorts) plays Joe, the redneck cannibal that helps Bunnyman and makes their victims into beef jerky.
Julianne Dowler (known for The Path of Fear, and several shorts) plays Sarah, a young woman who recently went through something bad and now is on a hiking trip with friends. And Maria Olsen (known for I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu, Vile, The Lords of Salem, Starry Eyes, and so many horror movies) has a short role as the bus driver.
Bunnyman Massacre starts off with a bang. Really. A bus full of kids is attacked by Bunnyman. Then he’s off and finds some campers to kill. (Is this Friday the 13th?) And unfortunately this is the only time there is nudity in the movie.
There are two storylines in the Bunnyman Massacre. You have Joe, the owner of a general store who sells “Beef Jerky” which we soon learn is human victims. He likes to randomly shoot people, especially cops. The other storyline is Bunnyman, just randomly killing unsuspecting people. After the events of the first movie he is now living with Joe who likes to verbally abuse him.
We are now introduced to Sarah and her four friends hiking. They split up and Sarah and another girl walk on while the other two run into Bunnyman and die. The remaining girls find the general store that Joe runs and he captures them. He tells Sarah if she brings him three more girls, then they can go free.
Of course after Sarah brings the girls, things don’t go as planned and most of the girls end up dead and there’s a chase scene while Joe is dealing with the Sheriff who is investigating the deaths of his men.

I wanted to take a quick break to let you know I found these great deals on Amazon for Bunnyman Massacre merchandise. I’ve applied to Amazon’s affiliate program and if I can get three purchases I will be accepted into the program. This will be of tremendous help with starting my small business.

For the Positives:
More kills. And there is actual creativity with some of them.
Bunnyman Massacre feels like it had a higher budget than the first movie.
The Negatives:
I wish more of the kills were shown on screen. Most are not shown.
Little to no nudity. Though what is shown is decent.
There were a few times that I thought WTF? Why are these characters doing that?
I didn’t like Sarah’s ending. I thought it was a cop out and it’s another reason why I didn’t like Sarah’s character.
Overall it’s better than Bunnyman, but still kind of bad. Though it’s improving. Watch at your own risk.
And now for your Forever Final Girl Exclusive…Did you know?:
You can see several of the “dead” victims still breathing even though they're supposedly dead.
The soundtrack in the trailer is actually from 28 Days later and 28 Weeks later.
The Bunnyman costume, with each movie, gets more and more worn out. It was in perfect condition for the first movie. Now it’s dirtier and the ears are bent. By Vengeance it is in horrible condition. It’s really stained and the ears are limp.
The Bunnyman’s head also changes from the first to the final movie. The first movie he hardly has any skin on it. This movie it’s more rotted and white. And in Vengeance it’s even worse.
