Bunnyman Vengeance
Yes, I’m still watching the Bunnyman franchise. I just watched Bunnyman Vengeance. I feel like this third and final movie brings the bunnyman trilogy full circle. We finally learn more about how Mike became the Bunnyman. We meet his “family” and discover why he turned out how he did, with a fun Europop type music video in the middle.

PLOT
After a run in with the law, Bunnyman returns to his family who now runs a haunted house. But it doesn’t take long for things to go bad for him.
MY THOUGHTS
Bunnyman Vengeance at least shows more of the kills this time instead of having the kills off screen. I have to downgrade the score because I wish they would have stuck with practical effects. The CGI was just terrible. Granted, I’m a practical effects kind of girl. Give me that and I’m usually pretty happy.
Acting, per usual. Not a lot going on. We have Joshua Lang (known for more behind the scenes than in front of the camera) return as the Bunnyman. I will give him props for doing a job emoting while playing a character who doesn’t speak and is in a bunny costume.
Michael Shaun Sandy (known for Axeman 2) plays John, and Omari Washington (known for mostly tv shows that are not horror) plays Carl, both older brothers of the Bunnyman. They are both sadistic and set him on fire and peed on him when he was a child.
Bunnyman Vengeance starts with Bunnyman almost getting caught, but fortunately for him one of his brothers shows up and helps him out. He’s brought back to his brothers home who are now running a haunted house.
We find out he has three brothers. Through flashbacks we find out the two older brothers are sadistic and are the ones who set him on fire when he was a kid and peed on him. He also has a younger brother who is mentally handicapped. The only brother that helped put the fire out when he was a kid.
One night the two older brothers and Bunnyman go out and find some girls to torture and kidnap. This shows us that, even though Bunnyman kills, his brothers are worse than he is. One of the brothers likes to torture the girls with acid and spiders.
Despite everything seeming ok, when they open the haunted house things don’t go as planned and soon a bunch of people end up dead and the brothers need to take off before the cops show up.
I think Bunnyman Vengeance is a nice ending for the trilogy. We come full circle where Bunnyman gets his revenge on those who injured him as a child. Is this a good movie? Eh, not really but you could do worse. I thought the kills were decent (minus the CGI) and I liked the little bit of backstory we got in flashbacks.
And now for your Forever Final Girl Exclusive…Did you know?:
The song playing during Bunnyman's drug trip is Machinist of Joy by Die Krupps.
