Evil Bong 3: The Wrath of Bong

Evil Bong 3 is not the best stoner comedy out there but it’ll do. The look of the alien bong is kind of cool. You get pot smoking and half naked girls so it’s not all bad. Two things bothered me though: Larnells fake wig just annoys me, and Nurse Hookah. What was her deal? Just floating instead of walking. Something is up with her.

PLOT

An evil alien bong crash lands on earth with the plan to take over the world. It’s up to our four reluctant heroes, and the help of Eevee, to stop the evil alien bong.

MY THOUGHTS

There are actual pseudo kills in Evil Bong 3. At the very beginning we see a guy burying his wife that he killed (off screen). And four alien women who drop dead. No blood or gore in any of the kills. Though I have to say, what happens to Bachman, Rabbit, and Alistair looks painful (for a guy).

Returning actors are: John Patrick Jordan (Larnell), Mitch Eakins (Bachman), Brian Lloyd (Brett), Sonny Carl Davis (Rabbit), Jacob Witkin (Grandpa), and Robin Sydney (Luann). Once again we get ANOTHER actor playing Alistair. This time Alistair is played by Peter Stickles (Gingerdead Man 3: Saturday Night Cleaver, Zoombies 2, and Axeman 2).

A man stumbles upon a meteorite that crashed on earth. It opens up to an alien looking bong. He takes the bong to Brett and Bachman’s store to make some money. Brett, being cautious, tells Bachman to leave it alone. But of course, Bachman smokes it and is pulled into it.

Meanwhile, Alistair is investigating the meteorite as Larnell shows up. He has been watching the meteorite before it crashes. They team up and head over to Brett’s pot shop.

Rabbit shows up to the shop wanting to see Bachman but instead takes a hit off of the bong and gets sucked in as well. The rest of the guys decide that they need Eevee, because she may be able to help them get their friends back.

Larnell and Alistair arrive to rescue Bachman and Rabbit to find them in a most uncomfortable situation. It seems the alien bong wants some certain kind of fluid from men. Yikes.

Overall, Evil Bong 3 isn’t the best of the first three but I was entertained. Again, these movies are more stoner comedy than horror. So if you like Full Moon and their cheesy version of stoner movies, then check this out.

And now for your Forever Final Girl Exclusive…Did you know?:

  • The first theatrical release from Full Moon Pictures.

  • In 2011, Full Moon announced a sweepstakes ahead of the film's theatrical release, asking fans to post their own teaser trailers for the film, for a chance to win 4,020.

  • According to Patrick Klepek, he received a writing credit for this film by entering a contest to come up with the tagline to Evil Bong 3. He submitted "Wrath of Bong" along with his own plot synopsis, which the filmmakers enjoyed so much they used it as the basis for the film's script. Klepek has also admitted to rigging the contest in his own favor by voting for himself numerous times in the filmmaker's poorly-implemented tagline poll.

  • According to the end of the credits, the next film in the franchise was supposed to be Evil Bong vs. the Killa Crack Pipe, but this never got realized.

  • Evil Bong 3 Evil Bong was shot in 3D and utilized scratch and sniff cards that film viewers could smell at certain times during the film.

  • Each Evil Bong movie with Alistair in it has a new actor playing him. And each time he changes, Larnell comments that he didn’t recognize him.
