Actors: Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Esposito, Christopher Nathan, Tobin Bell

On a night when a hurricane hits a small town, Timmy (Christopher Nathan) walks into a grocery store buying beer for his father. Timmy tells the store owner Dixie (Adrienne Barbeau) that he doesn’t want to go home because his father is sick. Dixie sends Chief (Tobin Bell) and Doc (Giancarlo Esposito) to go check on Timmy’s father. As they find the horror that was Timmy’s father, Timmy tells the story to Dixie. Who knew drinking green beer would lead to this?

And now for your Forever Final Girl Exclusive…Did you know?:

  • The green mold on the beer case is the same mold from "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill".

It was nice Adrienne Barbeau again in a Creepshow story. The last one she was in was “The Crate”. This story was gory but no real blood. This one is the scarier of the two. The ending was horrifying.

The House of the Head (3.5/5)

Director: John Harrison

Writer: Josh Malerman

Actors: Cailey Flemming, Rachel Hendrix, David Shae

Young Evie (Cailey Flemming) has a large dollhouse with the Smith Smith’s. A father, mother, son, and dog dolls. One day a zombie doll head shows up in the dollhouse. Everytime Evie leaves, and comes back, the dolls and head are in different positions! Each time the Smith Smith’s seem to get more and more scared. So Evie first buys a police officer doll to protect them. Then a wooden Indian Chief doll. But both times they end up decapitated.

And now for your Forever Final Girl Exclusive…Did you know?:

  • The carpet in the dining room is the same as the carpet from the Overlook Hotel in The Shining.

  • There is a chained crate in the attic of the dollhouse just like in “The Crate” in the first Creepshow movie.

  • The wooden Indian doll is the same one from “Old Chief Woodnhead” from Creepshow II.

  • The outside of the dollhouse is the same shape as Carrie White’s house in Carrie.

It was nice seeing Cailey Flemming acting in something other than The Walking Dead. She did a great job with her role. This was a nice, creepy little tale with a “growing up” kind of vibe. No gore and only dolls are killed. The doll blood looks more like strawberry jam. And very little of it.
